How do I gain access to my site?
Step 1: Setting Up Your Access
To give you full control over your Squarespace site, I’ll send you an email invitation to become an Administrator. This role will allow you to manage everything on your site, including editing pages, updating content, changing settings, and more.
When you receive the email, it will include simple instructions to create or log into your Squarespace account. Once you accept the invitation, your account will be linked to the site, and you’ll have full access to everything you need to take ownership of your website.
If you’d prefer a different level of access—for example, if you’d like to only focus on editing content while I handle the technical settings—just let me know, and I can adjust the permissions accordingly.
Step 2: My Continued Role as an Admin
Even after you have full access, I’ll remain an Administrator on the site. This means I’ll be able to assist you with any updates, troubleshooting, or changes you might need down the road. Think of it as having a built-in safety net for your website—you’ll have full ownership and control, but I’ll always be available to support you as needed.
If there’s ever a time when you’d like to transfer full ownership to yourself or someone else, we can easily do that too. For now, keeping me as an admin ensures I can step in quickly if you have questions or run into any issues.
Step 3: Getting Comfortable with Your Site
I know it can feel overwhelming to take on a new website, so I’m here to help you get started. Once you’ve accepted the invitation, I’ll be happy to walk you through the basics, such as:
How to update text and images.
How to add new pages or blog posts.
How to manage any special features like a store or contact forms.
If you’d like, I can also put together a short guide tailored to your site to make things even easier.
Moving Forward
This is your site, and my goal is to make sure you feel confident managing it. At the same time, I’ll always be available to provide extra support or take care of more advanced tasks if needed.

Important Notes:
You Retain Ownership: Adding me as an admin does not affect your ownership of the site. As the owner, you’ll always have the highest level of control, including the ability to add or remove admins at any time.
Safety First: Never share your Squarespace login credentials with anyone. Adding me as a contributor ensures secure access without compromising your account.
